Looff on Tour

Looff on Tour is a little bit outdoor art festival, a little bit open studio tour. We’re envisioning a day of exploring our City, of getting to see artists and makers in their element. We’re thinking fun traveling musical acts - and great food and drink options.

The Looff -
Cancelled for 2020

Every August, the Looff Arts Festival is held at Crescent Park on the beautiful East Providence waterfront. Hundreds of Creatives and thousands of patrons attend the Looff every year. The Looff showcases all types of art including fine paintings, photography, pottery, sculpture, metal works, fiber arts, music, writing, and more. Providence Folk Festival

In late August, the Providence Folk Festival is held at Crescent Park on the beautiful East Providence waterfront. Dozens of folk musicians and thousands of patrons attend the Providence Folk Festival every year. The Folk Festival features artists like Dan Lilley and the Keepers, Allysen Callery, Josh Schurman, and the Lisa Couto Trio. East Providence Heritage Days

Every July, East Providence Heritage Days holds its annual outdoor festival at Pierce Field in East Providence. This festival features dozens of musicians and draws thousands of patrons each year. Fiddle ‘n Folk Festival

Every September, dozens of folk musicians and performers, and hundreds of patrons gather in Haines Park for the Fiddle ‘n Folk Festival. Musicians and performers include John Fuzek, Len Cabral, Hollow Turtle, and Old Dog Daddy and the Dagnabbits. Portuguese Folclórico Festas (Feasts)

Every summer, all of the East Providence Portuguese churches and social clubs hold their respective summer festivals. Performances of traditional folk dances (folclorico) and folk singing happen at each of these festivals. These festivals include the St. Francis Xavier Church Feast in mid-June, Phillips Street Hall feast in early June, and the Santa Maria feast in July, among others. EPAC Open Studio Tours -
Cancelled for 2020

East Providence’s first Open Studio Tour is scheduled for Spring 2020. The tour aims to showcase artists and Creatives from every part of East Providence and bring them together; to create larger audiences and more awareness of the arts that already exist in East Providence. EPHS Spring Musical

Every Spring, East Providence High School’s Musical Theatre Group stages an amazing school musical. The musical happens under the leadership of teacher, Maryann LaSorsa. Past performances have included Little Shop of Horrors, Jesus Christ Superstar, and the Wiz. Every Spring, the Riverside Middle School’s Musical Theatre Group stages an amazing school musical under the leadership of teacher, John Baldaia. Kids Rock Chorus

Every June, 4th and 5th graders from East Providence public schools join forces to create a 150+ member rock chorus. This Kids Rock Chorus is lead by music teachers Mr. Hurd, Mr. Temple, and Mr. Northup.
