EP Mohawks Community Kids Theatre
Have a kid interested in the performing arts? The Mohawks Community Kids Theatre rehearses at the East Providence Boys & Girls Club. They stage multiple performances every year at venues throughout the City.
Fuller Creative Learning Center
Thinking about making a podcast? Producing a song? Maybe you want to try your hand at sewing or fashion? Fuller has a recording studio and sewing machines available to anyone in EP (and it’s free). Simply call Fuller and make a reservation. Fuller also offers classes on claymation moviemaking, quilting, cooking, and improv.
HeARTspot Art Center & Gallery
Want to try a different medium? Explore yourself through art? Find a creative outlet for your kids? Artists, want to try your hand at teaching? HeARTspot offers classes for adults and children in an environment that is warm and welcoming. Classes include Intro to Drawing, Acrylic Painting for Beginners and Intermediates, SoulCollage, and Saturday Kids Art. New classes pop-up all the time, so be sure to check here regularly.
Have kids who want to explore the performing arts? Who love being the center of attention? JDP offers classes and camps in acting, dance, vocals, stage design and management, playwriting, American Sign Language, and more. JDP produces dramas and musicals throughout the year. JDP also offers private lessons.
RI Philharmonic School
Reminiscing about high school band and want to start performing again? Want to learn a new instrument? Or sing? Have kids who want to deepen their musical knowledge? The RI Philharmonic School offers classes for all age groups: babies and toddlers right on through to adults. Suzuki instruction and private lessons are also available.
